Mission
Essential piece of a digital transformation project, the PLM / Industry Business Consultant will be reviewing current customer processes and recommending improvements based on best practices in the industry.
Excellent knowledge of different engineering disciplines (for example System Engineering, Mechatronic, Digital Manufacturing, Composite engineering,…) or some specific industries (for example Marine & Offshore, High-Tech, Automotive,…), but also some PLM technologies (for example Dassault-Systèmes 3DExperience, Siemens Teamcenter,…) and some specific consulting framework (Dassault Systèmes Value Engagement) is necessary and/or the passion to constantly learn must be there.
The Business Consultant is responsible for the analysis of business processes, identifying process improvements and recommending automation of the processes where possible. The Business Consultant will work with the business stakeholders to understand their requirements and pain points, and will document these requirements in a format that can be used by the rest of the team to create a solution. The Business Consultant will also be responsible for creating test plans to ensure that the developed solution meets the business requirements.
The ideal candidate for this role will have experience working as a Business Consultant, and will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills. The candidate will be able to effectively communicate with both business and technical stakeholders, and will have a keen eye for detail. Appetite to evolve in Partner role in the future and lead customer engagement would be necessary.
Qualifications & expected profile
- The ability to understand business processes and objectives, and how they relate to systems and technology. Ways to model processes should be demonstrated.
- The ability to conduct interviews and workshops, taking notes and preparing presentations or minutes with high talent and creativity.
- The ability to use PLM software, applications and other technology is an important skill. 3DExperience would be a big plus. Office applications expertise should be demonstrated.
Role relevant qualifications, i.e. Graduate or equivalent experience is desirable but not essential.
- Availability to undertake the travel required for this role depending on the customer projects which are based in Western Europe.
Location
The base location for this role would be Paris, but working from another city or country is not excluded.
